I have never really much cared one way or the other about PM. I hang out here & don't have the time to be active on a bunch of Boards. Seeing this though, I have to wonder, if somebody over there was as quick to threaten legal action against the 'Antis' as they are against fellow hunters, maybe I would still have the right to trap in Az. or hunt lion in Ca. or run bears with dogs in Wa.................

I’m no lawyer and it has been a long time since I read the TOS. As I recall each author is responsible for the accuracy of their posts, and the administrators and moderators cannot verify the accuracy of said posts. Slander is only slander if it is untrue.
As far as the posts directed at PM everyone was just kind of in dismay at the price of the hunt. If the prices posted were accurate they don’t have a leg to stand on. From my perspective anything and everything that could even remotely be considered slanderous was directed at red frog and his outfitter business. So who is paying the lawyer? The origin of the e-mail seems to indicate the wrong pocket is paying the bill. You can not blurr that line between corporations or personal funds.

While I really have no dogs in this one, I find it pretty interesting.
True to my own ways, I have friends in lots of places. I have it on good authority that this e-mail was never sent, and an e-mail sent to the listed e-mail address ( administration@predatormasters.com ) bounces.
This e-mail address doesn't exist.
Not sure who sent it or how they did it, but it smells a lot like some sort of manipulating conspiracy. One that didn't have much preparation for factual evidence from what I can see.
Rocky Raccoon would be disappointed.

He's had a couple semesters of law and is their internet law specialist... I'd call it attempting to practise law without a license.
I'm not sure how an email could come from PM.com unless it was from someone on the inside there.

Don't judge us (entirely) on these type of issues, JB. There is a long and storied history involved here, and this is the only place you will read about it. Why, you may ask?
Because we don't edit and delete discussions. Other places, for sake of decorum, will edit and delete entire threads, and ban those that posted them, basically, communist style censorship.
So, in some respects, this is/has become an alternative universe for those who have become disenchanted with the 800 pound gorilla of the online predator hunting community.
